Half term Holiday October 2017

Parent and Child Stop Motion Animation (for KS1 children)

We so often hear parents complain that they know nothing about computers and leave it to their children. Well, we also know that our Stop motion Animation Clubs build confidence in children who attend. So, why not join your child and make a film with them? Have fun while using a computer together! You will create a stop motion film, using your/their own ideas, props (toys) and backgrounds. Using cameras, specialist software and digital editing techniques you will work towards a final movie that you can take home and share. We also showcase films on our YouTube channel, where you can show off your creations to friends and family.

Lego Robotics (for KS2 children)

Join us for another fun-packed workshop where we will be using exciting Lego technology to build and program amazing robots which can move, using motors, gears and wheels.

Our young roboteers will learn how to program sensors to make the robot react to its surroundings. This workshop is brilliant fun, and great for nurturing skills in maths, technology and engineering.

@City of Bristol College Ashley Down Campus

Workshops will take place in the IT Suite near the main reception: we will email a map once booking is confirmed.
